About the event
Every bias, blind spot, or shortcut we humans carry into our work is magnified when embedded into an AI system. A careless choice in training data can ripple outward to influence thousands of hiring decisions, loan approvals, or medical treatments. Responsible AI use isn’t about perfection—it’s about creating guardrails, asking better questions, and keeping human judgment in the loop.
Workshop Description
Artificial Intelligence can amplify brilliance—or embed bias at scale. In this interactive session, we’ll explore how to use AI responsibly in both personal and organizational contexts. You’ll learn how bias enters AI systems, how to spot ethical red flags, and how to align AI tools with your values. Through real-world examples and group dialogue, you’ll consider the implications of AI use—and misuse—and walk away with a framework for navigating complex decisions about AI in your workflow, strategy, or community.
